In recognition of CP Football’s contribution to the Paralympic Movement, IFCPF are now working through the process for inclusion on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Sport Programme.  

The Australian 2017 National Paralympic Football Championships recently concluded in New South Wales. The tournament ran over four days, with four states competing. The teams played each other twice across three days before a finals series on the last day.  

The IPC is undertaking a 14-month exercise to finalise the Paris 2024 sports programme.  

The IFCPF Board had a face-to-face meeting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 17 – 19 November 2017.  It was a very fruitful meeting as the Members at Large from the European, African and Asia-Oceania regions were able to attend and update the Board on developments and challenges in their regions. The International Federation of CP Football (IFCPF) is pleased to announce that the first official IFCPF African Championships will take place in March 2018, hosted in South Africa.
