On 7th September 2015 we are 1 year to go until the start of the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. IFCPF Technical Director Tom Langen conducts Singapore site visit ahead of the ASEAN Para Games   This two yearly event is the 8th edition and last time in Myanmar CP football was first on the program. From the 11 countries in the East Asian region 5 nations will compete in the CP Football event: Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia and for the first time Indonesia.  

August 2015 has been an important month for CP Football, including the inaugral 2015 CP Football World Championships Under 19 as a major step for the development of youth CP football and part of our important partnership with CPISRA. Also, the ParaPanAm Tournament in Toronto forms the final qualification stage for the 2016 Paralympic Games n Rio de Janeiro.  

The first Under 19 CP Football World Championships The first Under 19 World Championship gave almost 100 new young athletes the experience to be involved in world class an international event and opened up a new pathway to their national team.
