So far it hasn't been the tournament for the away playing teams. All the teams playing at 'home' have won without conceding a goal. On Sunday Ukraine managed to score seven against a well organizef Australia. Russia beat Thailand 6-0 and the Netherlands als got in their first win against Canada: 3-0.  

Hosts Spain have not been able to highlight the start of the 2019 IFCPF World Cup in their own country. Against world nr. 5 Argentina the Spanish team suffered a 7-0 defeat.
