This year the International Federation of CP Football is supporting World Heart Day which aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and to educate people on the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle.  

The Deodoro Stadium hosted the final day of Football 7-a-side as Netherlands took on hosts Brazil for the Bronze medal. Brazil finished 4th in Beijing 2008 and London 2012 and were keen to get a medal infront of their partisan home crowd.
