Italy - Denmark

In the placement match for position 5 - 8, Italy took on Denmark. In the beginning of the game, Italy was a slight predominance, but after 10 minutes the first chances for Denmark presented. First after a very good safe of the Danish goalkeeper defender Mattia Maretinello striked the ball with a fantastic shot in the top corner of the goal. Half time 1 - 0.

The same game pattern in the second half. Italy scored 2 - 0 with a shot that seemed tenable for the keeper. Denmark came back into the game with an Italy own goal. This made things exciting again in the final minutes, but finally Italy took the win . Final score 2 - 1.

Italy now plays for position 5 and 6 while Denmark plays for 7 and 8.
