England - Netherlands

England and Netherlands played a very tough match for the 5th position in the World Cup. The English squad tried hard to score during the whole game, but faced an incredible performance of the Dutch goalkeeper, number 1 Damian Schellekens, who made at least three marvelous saves and helped the Netherlands keep the tie (0-0) up to the end of the extra-time. One more time, the Dutch team had a better performance and win the penaly quick shootout by 3-2. Fifth position for the Netherlands and England finished 6th in the competition.
