Germany needed their captain to defeat Finland

The german squad tried to save their captain's legs in the first half but Finland started very well and the score at the first half was 2-0. Remarkable first goal from Johannes Siikonen in a nice free kick.

But things changed immediately when at second half Conny Fritsch entered into the game scoring 2 quick goals to bring the draw to the score board. A third goal arrived rapidly from Robin Meyer and Finland had no option to come back to the match. The distance between teams kept increasing until the final 2-5.
