The American dream comes true: The United States is crowned champion of the 2025 IFCPF Copa Amรฉrica
The United States claimed the 2025 IFCPF Copa Americas title after defeating Argentina in the final held on Saturday, October 18. The North American team lifted the trophy after a hard-fought match that ended 4-1 in their favour.
During the first half, both teams demonstrated the results of their intense training and high technical level with a strategic and well-coordinated performance. Nonetheless, in the last minutes of the first half, Jacob Crumbley (#11) opened the scoring, giving the United States the lead at half-time.
In the second half, Mariano Morana (#5), one of the tournament's standout players, scored the equaliser, rekindling Argentina's hopes. However, Jonah Meyer-Crothers (#5) and John Sullivan (#8) extended the lead with decisive goals, sealing a 4-1 victory and securing the continental championship for the United States.
With this result, the United States CP football national team was crowned champion of the 2025 IFCPF Copa Amรฉrica, reaffirming its position as one of the leading international CP Football powers in the region.
