ENGLAND - UKRAINE

In the final of the European championship, England played against favorite Ukraine, who immediately had the initiative in the first half. They hit both the left and right posts before Ivan Doneko opened the scoring in the 13th minute. England could not become dangerous and Ukraine had most of the possession. They played the ball around quietly and waited for an opening. It came in the 26th minute. Liam Irons made a foul in the penalty area and a the kick from the penalty spot was flawlessly put in by Sherii Benedok. Half time 0 โ€“ 2
Immediately after the break, substitute Anton Balakai scored on his first contact with the ball. The game was played. England pressed on, but they didn't get any further than shots from a distance. Ukraine played the game professionally to the end and became European champion.
