SCOTLAND - IRELAND

In an attractive physical game, Ireland dominated and had several chances to score. The best opportunity was from the penalty spot, but the Scottish keeper prevented Gerry Messet from scoring. Later in the first half, Luke Evans broke open the scoring with a long shot.
In the second half, Scotland tied the score. Martin Hickman managed to use the given penalty the equalize the score.. After the equalizer, Ireland went looking for the win. That quickly resulted in two goals by Luke Evans and Gerry Messet who now managed to find the net.
