Colombia - Chile

In the clash between the South American countries Chile and Colombia, it was decided who will be the opponent of Scotland in the final.

Colombia was the better team in the first half, but helped by the strong wind, Chile took the lead twice through long shots from their number 9 Patricio Saavedra. However, Colombia managed to come back twice in the game and both teams went into halftime with a 2 - 2 tie.

Chile took the lead again after the break. Colombia took the initiative again, but the post and crossbar stood in the way of the equalizer. It wasn't until injury time that they managed to take advantage of one of the many opportunities they created.

Extra time was necessary. In the first half of extra time, the Colombians managed to take advantage of the opportunities and scored 3 times in quick succession. Towards the end of the game, they just managed to find the goal one more time. Final score 7 - 3.
