Ukraine - Great Britain

The last game of the day featured Ukraine playing Great Britain in the semi-final. Championship favorite Ukraine conceded an early goal when Great Britainโ€™s Sean Highdale converted a penalty kick. They were able to answer back, when Ukraineโ€™s Vitalii Romanchuk scored to even up the game 1 โ€“ 1. Artem Kraslynykov put Ukraine ahead with an impressive header. With two minutes left, a Ukrainian player got a yellow card but Great Britain was unable to score on the penalty kick, leaving the score at half 2 โ€“ 1 in favor of Ukraine.

Great Britainโ€™s play in the second half involved arguing some decisions about which way the ball went. The Ukrainian side took advantage of British distraction to repeatedly get in close on the goal area. Vitalii Romanchuk scored again midway through the half to put Ukraine ahead 3 โ€“ 1. Great Britain was never able to answer back.
