Venezuela's Withdrawal Means Change in Copa Schedule

Venezuela has withdrawn from the upcoming 2025 IFCPF Copa Amรฉrica, starting on Saturday in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

 

The team were scheduled to play in the opening match of the tournament at 9:30am local time against the host nation, a spot the United States of America will fill. Stuart Sharp's charges, currently ranked sixth in the IFCPF Men's World Rankings, will remain in Group A, alongside Uruguay and Argentina in a three-team group.

 

The teams in Group B remain unchanged, with Brazil, Canada, Chile and American club team CP Soccer US all aiming to qualify.

 

With a seven-team tournament, a new schedule has now been released, which can be viewed on the IFCPF Copa América tournament page. The three teams that finish outside the top two in their respective groups will play in a round robin tournament to determine placings.

 

All games will be live-streamed on the IFCPF YouTube channel.
