Right from the kick-off, the Americans dominated possession and played with relentless energy. The first goal came from Ryan Wlogyka (#6), lifting his team’s confidence. By half-time, CP Soccer US had already built a 3–0 lead, firmly positioning themselves as favourites.

 

Despite the scoreline, Uruguay showed impressive teamwork and solid technical skills, keeping their intensity high and refusing to make things easy for their opponents.

 

However, CP Soccer US didn’t ease up. With a relentless attack and a solid defence, the team wrapped up the match with a commanding 8–0 victory, a reflection of the hard work and commitment the players have shown throughout their first international tournament.

The United States and Canada faced off in the first semifinal of the IFCPF Copa América, with Team USA delivering a commanding 6–0 victory to secure their place in the tournament final.

 

Captain Benjamin Lindau led by example, opening the scoring in just the third minute, setting the tone for what would become a dominant performance. Despite a solid effort from Canada, they couldn’t contain the relentless American attack. The US side scored four goals in the first half and added two more in the second, completely controlling the match.

 

Adam Ballou (#7) sealed the result with the sixth and final goal, capping off a powerful team display that underlined the Americans’ strength throughout the competition.

 

With this result, the United States advances to the final on Saturday, October 18th , where they’ll fight for the Copa América title.



 

BRAZIL V ARGENTINA

 

Clash of Titans: Argentina and Brazil battle it out in a fierce match that ended 2–0 in favour of the Argentinian team

 

Argentina and Brazil faced off on Thursday, 16 October, in the second semifinal of the IFCPF Copa América, delivering a thrilling match filled with tension, effort and emotion.

 

From the opening whistle, Argentina looked confident and well-organised, dominating possession and creating several dangerous chances. However, the first half ended in a goalless draw, with both sides showing strong defensive discipline.

 

It was clear the match would be decided by fine margins, but in the second half, Brazil found the breakthrough. In the 52nd minute, German Romussi (#3) opened the scoring with a powerful strike that left the Argentine goalkeeper with no chance.

 

From then on, the game became increasingly physical and intense. Brazil pushed hard to equalise, but Argentina’s pressure was relentless. Finally, in the 60th minute, Romussi struck again to secure the 2–0 victory and send Argentina through to the grand final.

 

With this result, Brazil will now face Canada in the third-place playoff, while Argentina moves on to fight for the championship title.

Chile claimed a convincing 6–0 victory over CP Soccer US, earning a place in the fifth-place playoff where they’ll face Uruguay on Saturday, 18 October.

 

The match started at a high tempo, with Thomás Valenzuela (#10) opening the scoring in the 5th minute, boosting Chile’s confidence and putting early pressure on their young American opponents.

 

Despite the tough scoreline, the US goalkeeper once again showed strong leadership, standing out as a steady presence for the team’s young talents. The American side gave everything until the final whistle, proudly representing their country in this international tournament.

 

In the second half, Patricio Saavedra (#11) shone brightly, netting three decisive goals to secure Chile’s emphatic win.

 

With this result, Chile move forward to their final match of the 2025 IFCPF Copa América on Saturday, 18 October, aiming to finish the tournament on a high.

URUGUAY V CHILE

Uruguay and Chile Conclude Their Participation in the IFCPF Copa Américas 2025

 

Uruguay and Chile faced each other on the final day of competition to determine fifth place in the international tournament. In an intense match, Chile claimed victory with a 20-0 scoreline.

 

The young Uruguayan team, playing in its first international tournament, demonstrated great determination and team spirit, supported by the crowd that passionately cheered them on throughout the match.

 

Although the tournament has come to an end for both teams, the experience represents an important step forward for Uruguay, which continues to build its path and develop new talents with strong potential for the coming years.

Brazil claimed a solid 9-0 victory over Canada, once again showcasing their strength and experience in the tournament.

 

The Player of the Match was Vinicius Ribeiro (#7), who stood out with an impressive performance, scoring six of Brazil’s nine goals.

 

Despite the result, the Canadian team displayed perseverance and discipline, maintaining their intensity throughout the game. Both sides continue to gain valuable experience in this important continental competition.





 

USA V ARGENTINA

The American dream comes true: The United States is crowned champion of the 2025 IFCPF Copa América

 

The United States claimed the 2025 IFCPF Copa Americas title after defeating Argentina in the final held on Saturday, October 18. The North American team lifted the trophy after a hard-fought match that ended 4-1 in their favour.

 

During the first half, both teams demonstrated the results of their intense training and high technical level with a strategic and well-coordinated performance. Nonetheless, in the last minutes of the first half, Jacob Crumbley (#11) opened the scoring, giving the United States the lead at halftime.

 

In the second half, Mariano Morana (#5), one of the tournament's standout players, scored the equaliser, rekindling Argentina's hopes. However, Jonah Meyer-Crothers (#5) and John Sullivan (#8) extended the lead with decisive goals, sealing a 4-1 victory and securing the continental championship for the United States.

 

With this result, the United States CP football national team was crowned champion of the 2025 IFCPF Copa América, reaffirming its position as one of the leading international CP football powers in the region.
