The Australian 2017 National Paralympic Football Championships recently concluded in New South Wales. The tournament ran over four days, with four states competing. The teams played each other twice across three days before a finals series on the last day.

 

New South Wales were the champions, winning their 13th National Championships. Victoria made the final for the first time to finish second, whilst Western Australia claimed the bronze medal. The final was also streamed on Facebook live with over 10,000 people viewing it online.

  • Gold medal match MVP: Ben Atkins (NSW)
  • Bronze medal match MVP: Alessandro La Verghetta (WA)
