2024 Qualification Criteria

Introduction

These Qualification Regulations describe in detail how teams and players can qualify for the 2024 IFCPF World Cup (Men's and Women's) and 2024 IFCPF World Championships (Men's). It provides to the IFCPF membership, sports administrators, coaches and to the players themselves the conditions that allow participation in the world level events of CP Football in 2024.

2024 IFCPF World Cup - Men

• As the highest competition in the CP Football competition cycle for men, the 2024 IFCPF World Cup will feature a tournament for the top sixteen (16) countries in the world, having qualified through their previous performances.
• In combination with the World Championships, this provides a world level competition programme for up to thirty-two (32) nations, all receiving ranking points.
• The World Cup is part A for the top sixteen (16) teams.
• The tournament will be played in a 7-a-side format, with a squad of fourteen (14) players.

2024 IFCPF World Championships - Men

• As the second highest competition in the CP Football competition cycle for men, the 2024 IFCPF World Championships will feature a tournament for all teams after the top sixteen (16) countries in the world, having qualified through their previous performances.
• In combination with the World Cup, this provides a world level competition programme for up to thirty-two (32) nations, all receiving ranking points.
• The World Championships is part B for all teams after the top sixteen (16) teams.
• The tournament will be played in a 7-a-side format, with a squad of fourteen (14) players.

2024 IFCPF World Cup - Women

• As the highest competition in the CP Football competition cycle for women, the 2024 IFCPF World Cup will feature a tournament for up to sixteen (16) countries, having qualified through their previous performances.
• This provides a world level competition programme for up to sixteen (16) nations, all receiving ranking points.
• The tournament will be played in a 5-a-side format, with a squad of ten (10) players
