Australia win on penalties, claim bronze over Thailand in Kai Lammertโ€™s 100th

Kai Lammert celebrated his 100th match in the Australia setup with a win, as his team defeated Thailand 3-1 on penalties after a 2-2 draw after extra-time.

Taj Lynch, Augustine Murphy and Connor Bunce each converted for Australia, with Chaipon Thammawichaiโ€™s miss proving pivotal.

Australia had previously led 2-0, with Bunce and an own goal from Phonpipat Nampaksa giving them a lead.

Narongchai Thaohong and Attan Tahe answered back, but Thailand could not finish the job on penalties, giving the Aussies bronze.
