Colombia defeats Brazil in a thrilling start to Day 3

On the third day of the 2025 Youth Parapan American Games, Colombia earned a hard-fought 2โ€“1 victory over Brazil in a match full of energy, skill, and determination from both sides.

In the first half, Willinton Palencia (#9) opened the scoring for Colombia in the 17th minute, taking advantage of a clear chance in front of goal. Despite the setback, Brazil displayed strong defensive organization and perseverance throughout the half.

Early in the second half, Juan Ortega (#12) extended Colombiaโ€™s lead, putting pressure on the Brazilian side. The hosts responded in the 45th minute with a goal from Thiago Feliciano (#6), closing the gap but not enough to change the outcome.
