Both teams qualify for World Cup

The last match of the tournament, played as a round robin, Iran versus Australia was like a final. Both teams were on top of the ranking with each 9 points. However Iran decided the game already in the first half and beat Australia with 6 – 0 and became again champion of the region. Both teams qualified for the World Cup next year in Sevilla Spain. Number 10 and captain Karimizadeh Abdolreza achieved to be the top scorer of the tournament with 13 goals and had a great contribution to the winning team.
