Ireland - Great Britain

The final game of the day saw Great Britain play Ireland. Early on, Team GB established their offensive dominance with Ireland only capable of getting the occasional break away that England quickly stopped. It wasnโ€™t until midway through the half that Ireland started getting real chances but by then Liam Irons scored for Great Britain. The first half finished 1 โ€“ 0 in Team GBโ€™s favour.

The second half was much like the first, with Britain dominating early with a goal by Michael Barker. Ireland battled back to get good runs down the field, with Gary Messett scoring to make it 2 โ€“ 1. Team GB appeared to run out of steam, offering the Irish more chances that they were unable to capitalize on. Ollie Nugent scored one more time for Great Britain and a few minutes later, the game ended 3 โ€“ 1.
