VENEZUELA WINS THE BRONZE MEDAL!

For the bronze medal, Venezuela and Chile played a very even match, especially in the first half, that finished 2-1 for Venezuela. But it was Chile who scored first: its best scorer #10 Thomas Velenzuela, after a penalty kick at the 27th minute. But the reaction of Venezuela was immediate, with two goals at the 28th and the 30th minutes, by #7 Reinaldo Paredes and #4 Antony Rea.
Chile started the second half with a high pressure, and got to tie the match at the 40th minute, by its #7 Juliรกn Hernandez. Venezuela tried hard to score one more goal, but the Chilean defense did not allow it.
The 2-2 tie took the match to the extra-time, but none of the team could score again. Then, in the penalty kick competition, only one of the six kicks was successful, and the one who made was again the captain of the Venezuelan team, #4 Antony Rea. Bronze medal to Venezuela!
