Canada win opening game.

Canada had a comprehensive 10-0 win over hosts Denmark in the opening game of the 2016 World Championship Qualification Tournament. Canada had 6 different scorers with a hat-rick from 17 year old captain Samuel Charron being the catalyst for this win. Canada lost the very influential Jamie Ackinclose to a serious injury early in the second half which may mean the end of his tournament. However coach Drew Ferguson will be happy his young charges started off the tournament in such a positive note.

For Denmark today's defeat will be a steep learning curve and they will hope to do much better in a group that also features Japan and Finland
